Rall Swartland Red is a captivating blend from the heart of South Africa’s Swartland region, where the rugged terrain and ancient soils produce wines of remarkable depth and character. Crafted by Donovan Rall, one of South Africa’s most respected boutique winemakers, this red embodies his commitment to minimal intervention winemaking and his deep understanding of the region’s unique terroir.

The wine is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault, all grown on sustainably farmed vineyards. These low-yielding vines thrive in the dry, warm climate and granite-rich soils of Swartland, producing grapes with exceptional concentration and balance. Fermented with natural yeasts and matured in old oak barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit, Rall Swartland Red is a true expression of both place and vintage.

Deep ruby in colour, the wine offers alluring aromas of blackberries, cherries, and plums, interwoven with notes of black pepper, lavender, and a hint of smoky spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a lively acidity that carries the flavours of dark fruit, wild herbs, and earthy minerality through to a long, elegant finish.
