From the acclaimed La Bastide estate in Bandol, this rosé is the result of decades of dedication and craftsmanship. Under the leadership of Stéphane Bourret, La Bastide has become a benchmark for quality in the region, producing wines that reflect the true character of the Provence terroir. Despite the influx of tourists eager to buy local wines, Stéphane has chosen the path of hard work and a relentless focus on quality. The estate has shifted towards biodynamic methods, with an emphasis on sustainable farming, allowing the vineyards to thrive in harmony with their environment.

La Bastide's vineyards benefit from the unique microclimate of Bandol, where the Mediterranean Sea brings cooling breezes, while the clay and limestone soils add depth and minerality to the wines. This rosé is a beautiful blend of Mourvèdre (62%), Cinsault (18%), Grenache (16%), and a small percentage of Ugni Blanc and Bourboulenc (4%), all organically farmed to ensure the purest expression of the fruit.

On the nose, you’ll find vibrant, precise aromatics of raspberries, wild cherries, and strawberries, with a subtle herbal note. The palate is equally refined, offering a savoury edge and a medium body that’s layered with fresh red fruits. The wine finishes with a smooth, stony mineral zing, a hallmark of the estate’s commitment to preserving the natural character of their vineyards.

Thanks to La Bastide's dedication to organic principles, this wine is not only a delicious reflection of the region but also a sustainable choice for those who appreciate wines made with care for the land. Mourvèdre’s structure, Cinsault’s elegance, and Grenache’s fruit-forward charm make this rosé both refreshing and immensely drinkable, perfect for warm afternoons or pairing with Provençal dishes.
