Join us at Queens Bistro on Weds 27th May from 6.30pm for a relaxed and intimate evening exploring the wines of Doolhof Wines alongside special guest Johan Fourie.
Set in the beautiful Wellington region of South Africa, Doolhof has built a reputation for producing elegant, expressive wines that balance purity, character and a real sense of place. Throughout the evening, Johan will guide us through a handpicked selection of the winery’s wines, sharing stories from the vineyards, insight into the winemaking philosophy and what makes the estate such an exciting producer.
Alongside the tasting, our chefs at Queens Bistro will serve a specially prepared three-course dinner designed to be enjoyed throughout the evening. Rather than formal food pairings, this event is all about creating a relaxed atmosphere to discover great wine, enjoy beautiful food and learn more about one of South Africa’s most exciting wineries.

Tastings
You'll be tasting wines with a group of around twenty people, spread across Queen Avenue if the weather holds up. Be ready to sit next to a stranger and make friends over a nice glass of wine.
Bottle Shop
The wines that you're tasting will be available to purchase from the wine shop after the tasting. We'll probably open up a couple of extras whilst there too!
