Cifras Garnacha Blanc

From the historic vineyards of Labastida in Rioja region, Cifras is a truly unique expression of Garnacha Blanca. Sourced from two plots—one with 20-year-old vines, the other boasting 80 years of age—this wine reflects the depth of character that only time and exceptional terroir can impart. The grapes are hand-picked in small 14-kilo boxes and gently pressed, stems included, without maceration. Fermentation takes place in concrete eggs, where the wine spends 12 months on its lees, adding texture and complexity. After a further 18 months of bottle aging, the result is a wine of remarkable balance and finesse.
