Hailing from the southern reaches of Burgundy, Côte Beaujolais offers a unique expression of the Gamay grape. Once overshadowed by its Pinot Noir cousin, Gamay has found its true home in this region, producing fresh, terroir-driven wines. Jean-Baptiste Duperry, a dedicated artisan vigneron, is at the forefront of this revival.
Glou Glou, a limited-production gem from Duperry's cellar, showcases the best of Beaujolais. Grown on a mix of silt and clay soils at 200m altitude, the Gamay grapes benefit from a gentle southern exposure. Crafted with minimal intervention, this wine is a pure expression of its terroir. Aged in cement for 5 months and bottled without excessive filtration, Glou Glou retains its vibrant character.
Expect a refreshing red wine bursting with lively red berry notes, a tangy acidity, and a touch of spice. The soft tannins make for an easy and enjoyable drinking experience. Slightly chilled, Glou Glou is a perfect companion for a variety of dishes. This delightful gem from Beaujolais is a far cry from the infamous "vin de merde" scandals of the past.

Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Vintages
We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
