L'Hurluberlu is a "natural wine" cult favourite, and it’s easy to see why, it's Cabernet Franc at its most vibrant and fresh. Known for its distinctive bottle and bright personality, this wine is juicy, herbal, and downright irresistible.

Each vintage of Hurluberlu brings something new, but one thing remains constant: it gets better every year. Dark, vivid purple in the glass, it bursts with cherry kirsch, dark berries, and a savoury, mineral edge that adds depth. What makes this wine even more unique is how Sébastien David crafts it. He skips the sulphur and instead uses carbon dioxide to protect the grapes, allowing a natural fermentation to begin with free-run juice at the bottom of the tank. The grapes spend 25 days on the skins, resulting in a wine with a bit of grip and texture, but still fresh and lively.

Expect bold cherry fruit, a signature herbaceous note of green peppers, and a crunchiness that defines natural Cabernet Franc. This wine is exuberant, with flavours of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry that pop with every sip. It's pure ‘Vin de Terroir,’ with nothing added or taken away, just an honest, expressive red that shines when slightly chilled.

Sébastien David’s family has farmed organically for generations, with 15 hectares of vineyards that have never seen chemicals. His approach is as natural as it gets, sometimes experimenting with amphorae and clay eggs to elevate his craft. This is a wine that’s full of character and energy—perfect for those looking for something a little off the beaten path.
