Straight into the nitty-gritty. A sparkling rosé made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre, Pinot Noir, Petit Manseng, Sauvignon and Muscat. Quite an ingredient list. This is a sparkling rosé, uplifting, fresh, crisp and fruity with a fine textured mousse of bubbles. Red berries and fragrant delicate summer fruits, elegant, soft and wholeheartedly delicious. Summer in a glass. The Guibert family’s philosophy to wine can be summarised thus: respect for the environment, respect for the complexity of the wines and respect for a natural, stable biotope. Mas De Daumas Gassac is sited just outside the village of Aniane, 15 miles northwest of Montpelier. The huge garrigue forest that surrounds the Gassac Valley provides the right conditions for a variety of birds and insects in an ecosystem that functions perfectly, regulating, in the process, the numbers of predatory species. The Guiberts see their task as respecting this subtle balance, which contributes to the complexity of their wines, without making the slightest concession to chemical fertilisers or synthetic substances. The only fertiliser used on Gassac soil is a compost made from Larzac sheep manure. This story began in 1971 as a love story with an abandoned farmhouse and a unique terroir. The Guiberts are now on the cusp of a third generation of vignerons in the Gassac valley, staying true to the vision of Véronique and Aimé. And that truly is a good thing.

Some information about your order

Gift Wrapping & Notes

Please let us know if you would like a specific note included with your order. We tend to wrap all bottles in paper and reuse wine cases for shipping to keep our carbon footprint low.

Shipping Costs

Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Find out more on our Deliveries page.

Delivery Times

We will look to have your delivery with you within 3 working days of receiving the order but please ask if you need it by a certain date and we'll do our best.

Vintages

We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.

Surcharges

Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
