Petit Verdot from Jean-Yves Millaire is a rare, personality-rich red that puts one of Bordeaux’s most magnetic grape varieties centre stage. Grown on sun-warmed, clay-limestone soils and vinified naturally with minimal sulphur, this wine shows the true soul of Petit Verdot — bold, aromatic and deeply expressive.
In the glass it gleams with a deep ruby core that hints at the intensity to come. The nose is magnetic, layered with dark plum and blackcurrant, woven through with notes of spice, cocoa and warm earth, and a whisper of floral violet that speaks of maturity and elegance. On the palate the wine is beautifully structured, with rich fruit framed by refined, confident tannins and a vibrant line of acidity that keeps the finish long, resonant and satisfyingly savoury.
This is a wine with character and charm, powerful yet poised, expressive of both its unique grape and the biodynamic care in the vineyard.

Delivery Times
We will look to have your delivery with you within 3 working days of receiving the order but please ask if you need it by a certain date and we'll do our best.
Vintages

Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
