A wine with serious pedigree, but absolutely no need to show off. This Greco di Tufo from I Capitani is all about place – you can taste the ancient volcanic soils of Tufo in every mineral-edged sip. From the oldest vine of Irpinia, thought to have arrived from Thessaly and famously namechecked in a Pompeii fresco, Greco is one of those grapes that quietly gets under your skin. The nose is striking – Renette apples, citrus peel, a brush of broom blossom – and the palate is finely structured yet graceful. Golden straw in the glass, silky on the tongue, and driven by that unmistakable Greco backbone: freshness, flavour, and a saline, stony finish that lingers long after the glass is empty. Cultivated on hillside vineyards using traditional guyot-trained vertical trellises, this is a white that wears its heritage well and gives Fiano and Falanghina a run for their money. Elegant, enduring, and true to its terroir.

Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Delivery Times

Vintages
We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
