From the sun-drenched vineyards of La Consulta in Mendoza's Uco Valley, this Malbec exemplifies the elegance and depth achievable in Argentina's high-altitude terroirs. Harvested manually in the third week of April, the 12-year-old vines yield grapes that are vinified with meticulous care: a cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts, and a 25-day maceration period. Notably, 40% of the wine is aged for six months in French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity, before a further three months of bottle aging.

In the glass, it presents a deep, intense red hue. The nose is greeted with aromas of black pepper, green bell pepper, and red fruits. On the palate, it offers a velvety entry with round, juicy tannins, culminating in a balanced and elegant finish.

We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
