Goyo Garcia Viadero Valdeolmos
Finca Valdeolmos is located around the prestigious town of Roa at 860m altitude on stony and sandy soils with high content of active limestone. The Tempranillo and Albillo grapes were hand harvested, destemmed and co-fermented with wild yeasts then aged for 3 years in very old fine-grained Bordeaux barrels before being bottled without fining, filtration or any SO2. Finca Valdeolmos is the most aromatic of Goyo`s wines, ripe with pronounced violet aromas, black pepper and dark and red fruits with notes of bitter chocolate and spices. A round palate with fresh and fine-grained tannins leads to a beautifully long, juicy finish. A true expression of chalk terroir.
