A delight for adventurous wine lovers, Funkstille’s Skin Contact 2023 showcases the magic of prolonged grape skin contact. This dark yellow wine with light orange reflexes is packed with charm. Expect layers of dried tropical fruits, a subtle spice from the Veltliner grape, and a well-balanced touch of tannins that add structure without overwhelming the palate.
Grapes are carefully pressed and left to macerate on their skins, giving the wine its unique orange hue and an extra depth of flavour. Fermentation takes place over 15 to 25 days in stainless steel tanks, using selected yeasts at controlled temperatures that rise towards the end. This wine sees no malolactic fermentation but spends a generous 8 weeks on its lees, adding a rich, textured complexity.

Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Vintages
We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
