For over 150 years, the Biscardo family has been crafting exceptional wines in Veneto, and their Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a stunning showcase of tradition, skill, and terroir.
Made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, this Amarone follows the time-honored appassimento method, where the hand-harvested grapes are dried for several months to concentrate their flavors before fermentation. The result? A deep, complex wine bursting with intensity, richness, and elegance.
Expect a velvety palate of dark cherries, dried figs, and plums, layered with notes of sweet spice, dark chocolate, and a hint of tobacco. Aged in oak barrels, the tannins are silky yet structured, giving this wine a luxurious mouthfeel and a long, lingering finish.

Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Vintages
We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
