Meet Guru, a Syrah and Grenache blend from Banjo Vino that proves a red can be serious fun. It’s made in the Languedoc from hand-picked grapes, which are destemmed and then raised briefly in stainless steel. That approach keeps everything fresh and light on its feet, so the fruit takes centre stage rather than any heavy extraction or oak.
In the glass and on the palate, Guru is all about brightness. Red fruit leads, folded together with sweet spice, and the two grapes work in harmony: Grenache brings the generous, juicy red fruit, while Syrah adds a savoury, spicy edge. The finish is persistent, with a gentle crack of black pepper that gives the wine a touch of character without ever weighing it down.
Like everything from Banjo Vino, Guru is certified organic and made with minimal sulphur. The producer likes to call its wines “jus” (juice), and that captures the spirit well: easy to enjoy, great for newcomers to natural-leaning wine and a pleasure for seasoned fans of lively reds. Serve it with a light chill and let it do the talking.

Shipping Costs
Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Delivery Times
We will look to have your delivery with you within 3 working days of receiving the order but please ask if you need it by a certain date and we'll do our best.
Vintages
We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
Returns
If something is wrong with your order or it's not what you expected, please get in touch and we'll sort it out. We'll look to rectify any mistakes where possible.
