Very good gear for the money, this is a nimble, juice laden tannin-free dandy from Almansa, south west of Valencia on the way to Jumilla. Organically farmed on limestone soils, some as high as 1200m.
Aldea is a bold yet beautifully balanced organic red from Almansa, southeastern Spain, where Garnacha Tintorera and Syrah thrive under the sun-soaked skies. Deeply coloured and full of character, this blend is all about ripe blackberries, juicy plums, and a touch of violet, with a whisper of smoky spice adding intrigue.
The Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet) gives the wine its inky intensity and rich, dark fruit, while Syrah adds a savoury edge and a hint of peppery warmth. Silky tannins wrap around the concentrated fruit, leading to a smooth, velvety finish with just enough freshness to keep everything beautifully in balance. Made with minimal intervention, Aldea captures the raw energy of Almansa’s rugged vineyards—pure, expressive, and effortlessly drinkable.

Shipping should be automatically adjusted depending on your postcode. Free delivery covers all Liverpool postcodes, and the following Cheshire postcodes: CH41-49, CH60-63.

Vintages
We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
