Cantina Orsogna – Vola Vole

In the foothills of the Maiella National Park, between mountains and the Adriatic, Cantina Orsogna is a cooperative of around 600 growers who have farmed organically for decades and increasingly biodynamically. Founded in 1964, it champions Abruzzo's native grapes and looks after the land with real conviction.

Vola Vole, the range we love, is dedicated to bees. The vineyards are managed so pollinators can thrive away from pesticides and herbicides, and the winery even selects its fermentation yeasts from pollen gathered from the surrounding wildflowers. The wines cover Montepulciano, Pecorino and other Abruzzo favourites, and are certified organic and vegan, offering a fresh, honest take on the region.
