“It tastes like the land it was born from. Respect the wine as if it was a person, a person who takes with him/her a world, a history, an atmosphere”. Arianna Occhipinti via her original wine-world inspiration, Uncle Guisto, and a Milanese study in oenology, began making her own wines in the mid 2000s around Vittoria in Sicily, her home region. She adopts a hands-on vineyard approach with organically grown grapes, no pesticides, no fungicides, no herbicides and no chemical or synthetic fertilisers. Biodiversity is maintained and the natural balance is honoured. So what is the juice of her labours like? The SP68 is named after a road that links her vineyards and is a 60/40 blend of Moscato di Alessandria and Albanello, with 15 days skin maceration and indigenous yeasts. It spends 6 months on its lees in concrete and is bottled unfiltered. Down to the nitty gritty: aromatic and juicy with pink grapefruit, lychees, fresh herbs and with a subtle tannic edge over an olive-esque savoury finish. This wine has elegance and finesse with a gentle yet determined acidity. This is a wine born from respect of the land and the vineyard.

Delivery Times
We will look to have your delivery with you within 3 working days of receiving the order but please ask if you need it by a certain date and we'll do our best.
Vintages

Surcharges
Surcharges often apply to deliveries outside mainland England so wise to confirm before you order. Indeed, Northern Ireland is beyond us unless shipping charges agreed beforehand.
