Bernard Fouquet, the vigneron behind Domaine Des Aubuisieres, is considered among the top three Vouvray producers, and this number is a serious Vouvray. In a landscape of valleys and slopes, topped by a broad plateau, sits the medieval town of Vouvray on the northern banks of the Loire, atop soils of clay, gravel, flint and limestone (tuffeau). Having plied his trade since ‘82 Fouquet gets the bullet points in: hand picked, indigenous yeasts, organic. The unique terroir, his bullet points and no wood results in a wine that perfectly marries fruit, acid and minerality. Expect tropical fruit, green apple, flint and a touch of sweetness. Can't leave without a hat tip to the troglodytic cellars used to age and store the wine either.

We will endeavour to deliver vintages as advertised but they often change faster than we can update (we're pretty slow). So, again, it may be wise to confirm before ordering if you're in need of something particular. Please note: Some bottle images may not show the current vintage.
