It’s still a Languedoc red at heart, but with a little more weight and seriousness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThat extra substance comes from careful work in the winery. The grapes are only partially destemmed, so some of the stems stay in to lend the wine more grip and body. Fermentation takes place in concrete tank, where gentle micro-oxygenation helps to settle the tannins and stabilise the colour. The wine then spends six months in neutral vessels, so nothing masks the purity of the fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eIn the glass, expect ripe black fruit woven with soft, sweet spice, and a velvety texture that coats the palate. The tannins are present but supple, and there’s a lovely balance between freshness and depth.
